Gary Forte a native Long Islander was born and raised in Syosset, N.Y. He graduated from Syosset High School and then from Adelphi University 1986 (BBA). He currently resides in Fort Salonga.
Straight out of college, he worked in the television advertising industry in NYC representing television stations in different markets around the country to advertising agency's on Madison Ave. It was there where he met his future wife.
In 1989 Gary Forte started G. Forte Construction Co. Inc.; a commercial construction company specializing in office, industrial and retail renovations. With his brother Doug, he established a reputation as a leader in the restaurant and hospitality construction industry here on Long Island. Mr. Forte is a Partner in Forte Properties which owns and manages commercial properties in Suffolk County.
Married to his wife Wanda since 1997, Gary Forte is a father to Maximo Luca (8 y.o.) and Dominic Angelo (5 y.o.). Both boys are students at Holy Family Regional School in Commack. Maximo is a Bear scout. Gary Forte has been Den leader for Cub Scouts Pack 323 in Commack since 2009. He is active in the scout holiday food drives, field trips and fundraising. Commitment to his community has always been important to Mr. Forte. His community involvement includes being a member of the Syosset Volunteer Fire Department and a former member of the Nassau County Civil Air Patrol (CAP). Today he is a member of Christ the King Church in Commack.
Mr. Forte has traveled extensively around the world, including trips to Africa, Australia and throughout most of Europe.
Gary Forte is an Active member of the Smithtown Conservative Party Executive Board since 2010.
